9/11 Commemorative Concert at St. Thomas Aquinas TONIGHT

Veterans, police officers, firefighters, and emergency responders will be honored tonight, September 11, at St. Thomas Aquinas Church in East Lansing. The program will run from 7:00-9:00 pm, and admission is free. Performers will include barbershop chorus The Capitol City Chordsmen, bagpiper Terry Carroll, and trumpeters Will Reid and Michael Liberato.

The evening will also feature representatives of the five branches of the US Military, and local Boy Scout Troop 180. A pinning ceremony will honor veterans and those currently serving in the military, as well as any retired or active police officers firefighters and first responders in attendance.
