In response to reader requests, ELi is now offering you a weekly “weekend preview.” Love our service? Then donate to our Kickstarter campaign to keep it going!

It’s the calm between the storms this weekend; MSU graduation and Mother’s Day are in the rearview, and the Art Festival is coming up on May 21 and 22. There are gardens to plant, and soccer and baseball games, but when you want a break from your routine, there’s lots to do in East Lansing.

It might be the city’s first Emo/Punk night, but event organizer, Fusion Show’s Nate Dorough, said it’s been a long time coming.
